Our New Friends Initiative Launched

We’re delighted to share the news about our new initiative Friends of the Antiquarian Booksellers' Association.

In their day-to-day business our members are supported by many valued trade professionals, colleagues and private individuals. While we can support and engage our members, we feel that the future of the book trade as a whole is better when we come together.

The Friends initiative will bridge the gap between our members and all those associated professions like publishers, binders, designers, illustrators, conservators, printers, librarians and archivists. Additionally, we have other kinds of booksellers who aren’t applicable to membership of the ABA. Then there are the invaluable collectors, the bibliophiles and enthusiasts who simply love the history and craft of the book. Together we form a rich ecosystem that thrives when we share, discuss, and pool our experiences.
