Harry Furniss (1854-1925) was one of Britain's leading caricaturists and illustrators, best known for his work for Punch, The Illustrated London News, and for illustrating the works of Charles Dickens and Lewis Carroll. This autobiography recalls his early career in London journalism, the theatrical world of the late Victorian period, and his encounters with many of the leading literary, artistic and political figures of the day.
