Autograph letter signed, written over three sides, 155 x 100 mm, on 62 Acacia Road, St John's Wood headed paper. Light evidence of former mounting to the blank final page, otherwise very good. Ford thanks the recipient for his kind letter and accepts an invitation to dinner. He expects to arrive in Bradford on Monday morning and hopes to finish his work there by the following Friday. Edward Onslow Ford was one of the leading British sculptors of the late Victorian period, best known for his portrait sculpture and public monuments such as for Percy Shelley and General Gordon. .
