Single sheet, written on one side. Old fold, otherwise near fine. Fildes tells an unidentified correspondent that he will be most happy to show him his picture the following day, asking him to say when he enquires so that an appointment can be arranged. Sir Luke Fildes was a leading Victorian painter and illustrator, closely associated with Charles Dickens through his illustrations for The Mystery of Edwin Drood.
