The pictorial dust jacket shows some wear, creasing and short tears to the extremities, with chipping to the top of the spine, with the attractive wrap-around village-map design. Overall: about very good. First edition of Holtby's posthumously published and best known novel, completed shortly before her death in 1935 and edited for press by Vera Brittain.
