This is the third publication of Pulitzer prize-winning American author James Gould Cozzens, it is uncommon inscribed. Octavo. Original black cloth, titles in red to spine and front board, orange-printed map endpapers, top edge red, others untrimmed. With dust jacket. Light wear to corners, spine a little sunned, small dent to front board affecting lettering, the binding otherwise firm and square, front hinge cracked but firm, else internally fresh and clean. A very good copy in the very good jacket, minor loss to corners, spine panel a touch toned, else bright.
