An important library containing 170 volumes with fore-edge painting by Vecellio, from the famous Pillone library which are listed at pp.662-680 of Volume II, "Collected at the close of the sixteenth century by Dr. Odorico Pillone of Casteldardo, and ornamented on the sides and edges with paintings...now preserved in an ebony bookcase..."
