Contemporary black roan; spine with gilt cross and other rich hand-tooling below title; covers with owner's initials (upper), and floral emblems (lower) within mitred panel with corner-pieces, and scrolling anthemion and single filet gilt borders. Corners bumped and worn, overall slight rubbing. Cormon et Blanc, based in Paris and Lyons, specialised in publishing books in English and were active between 1810 and 1841. Catholic prayers and devotions, attributed to William Crathorne, 1670-1740, in DNB, first published by Keating, Brown in 1818. No copy of this edition traced in WorldCat nor Jisc.
