The Times. London. 1914. FIRST EDITION. 8vo. (7.2 x 4.9 inches). Illustrated with a map of Belgium, 2 plates of the passes used by the Duchess to travel to Maubeuge and to return to England, plus 9 full page photographic plates showing the work of the Author's Ambulance service. Blue ink stamp of the King George Hospital Gift stores to on two text pages and the front cover and some foxing to the fore edges but overall a very good copy in the original printed paper wraps, which shows some rubbing and creasing but is still very good.
