[38], 143 printed pages + 5 page publisher's adverts at the back. Engraved title page. Frontispiece and three full-page engravings after Jacques de l'Ange; two fold-out musical notations by J. G. A. Bosch. Prose contributors include Jan Pieter Heye (1809-1876) Dutch physician poet, Auguste Clavareau (1787-1864) Luxembourg-born Dutch writer and translator, Frederik Hendrik Greb (1813-68), Antoine Adolphe Thierry (1818-81), and Schiller. This almanac was one issued annually from 1836 until 1850. All edges gilt. 58 x 90 mm. Original green cartonnage binding with black printer's devices in arched shape within decorative borders on back and front covers; titling in black on the spine. Some mild handling marks; corners very slightly bumped. OCLC, 72793407. WorldCat locates 11 copies worldwide.
