Contemporary ownership inscription on front free endpaper, dated 1900. 63 x 77 mm. Original pictorial paper-covered boards. Celia Levetus design on covers; titling and similar style decoration on spine. Boards a little rubbed and age-toned. Influenced by Walter Crane and William Morris, the illustrator Celia Levetus became associated with the Birmingham School of artists. Bondy, 69. Welsh, 1300. OCLC, 38629681.
