Printed at the University Press, Glasgow. Midget Series. Spielmann declared this publication as 'Perhaps the rarest of all the tiny Bryce miniature books' and number nine of the 'Midget Series'. Complete with original tarnished metal locket engraved with 'Midget Book with Magnifying Glass'. Brown spots on first nine pages and sporadically after that. Original pale yellow endpapers. All edges pale yellow. Contemporary owners ink inscription on front free endpaper. 19 x 28 mm. Original red roan. Gilt lettering on spine in circle and on front cover. Bondy, 107. Not in Garbett. Spielmann, 355-A. Welsh, 4722. OCLC, 220675362. WorldCat locates 7 copies worldwide. An early example of the photolithographic reduction technology.
