The First UK printing (with full number line present) published by Macmillan, London in 2004. Both the BOOK and the WRAPPER are in Fine condition. The book appears unread. The wrapper is protected in a removable Brodart archival cover. Signed (without dedication) by both Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler to the title page. Axel Scheffler has also doodled a head of the Gruffalo's child. Loosely inserted is a plain white bookmark. Julia Donaldson has doodled in brown ink, a doodled sketch of 'The Gruffalo' on this bookmark and written : 'The Gruffalo, Julia Donaldson, (with apologies to Axel Scheffler). The bookmark is blank to the verso. Loosely inserted is an unused publisher's promotional sticker of The Gruffalo. A sharp copy of the sequel to the The Gruffalo, with a unique ephemeral item.
