France: NA, 1840. An attractive surreal sketch of two animal figures in the style of Grandville. One is a bird in clothing, with a violin under its arm. The other is a small, indistinguishable bird, in clothes and a hat. The sheet has been removed from a sketch book at some point. Drawn in ink. Page is slightly dirty but still attractive. Sketch is approximately 12cm x 10cm. Sheet is 20cm x 12cm. An unusual caricature. . Une jolie esquisse surréaliste de deux figures animales dans le style de Grandville.
