Edinburgh: Printed for Archibald Constable and Co. 1820. 8vo. In 3 volumes. xxxiii, 298; (iv), 327; (iv), 371, 3 pp., Brown full calf binding with black title labels and dulled gilt decorated spine. Binding is marked with water marks to the lower half of the boards and rubbing to the spine, small sticker mark to the first volume. Wear to the hinges, particularly to the first volume. Owners plate to the front paste down of each volume and minor scattered spotting. First edition, first issue as per Worthington with two half-titles in each volume as called for. Three pages of adverts at rear of volume 3. . Very Good. Full Calf. First Edition, First Issue. 1820.

Within the UK we ship via Royal Mail and UPS. For the US we use USPS tracked services and Fedex. For the rest of the World we mostly use Royal Mail Tracked, as well as Parcelforce and DPD. Please select our Priority service if you'd like UPS / Fedex express servies, but even our Standard option is with UPS until Royal Mail sort themselves out. Prices are in sterling, and are subject to availability. We can accept bank transfers in Sterling, Euros, US and AUS dollars. We ship priority shipping as standard, and pack our books well. Courier services available. We are also able to offer same day delivery within London postcodes for some orders - ask for a quote. Valuable items will be sent via registered airmail or one of the courier services. Large orders can be sent via consolidation, which reduces the cost per book. In the unlikely event of an incorrect description, a full refund will be provided, but please e-mail/telephone first, and within seven days of receipt of the book. We are happy to comply to the EU's rules on distance selling. All books are published in London and 8vo unless stated, and remain my property until paid for in full.
