Profusely illustrated, mostly in colour. Translated from the original German in to French by Pierre Rusch. 348 pages. 275 x 265 mm (10¾ x 10½ inches). Focussing on The Vienna Secession (Wiener Secession / Secession Viennoise), an art movement, closely related to Art Nouveau. It was formed in 1897 by a group of Austrian painters, graphic artists, sculptors and architects, including Josef Hoffman, Koloman Moser, Otto Wagner, and Gustav Klimt.
