The preliminary note in the first edition reads: 'Of the following poems 'Echoes', 'A game of fives', the last three of the 'Four riddles', and 'Fame's penny-trumpet', are here published for the first time'. The two records are lightly worn but play well. The voices of Kathryn Baumont, Ed Wynn, Jerry Cologna, Sterling Holloway, Arnold Stang and others bring back to life this, one of Disney's best films. Colour frontispiece and 10 colour plates, all tipped-in with decorated margins to leaves, and paper cover plate in colour, all by Charles Folkard; also vignette to title page and numerous head- and tail-pieces and borders throughout. Publishers' blue cloth with titles to spine and upper board and triple fillet border in blind to cover plate to upper board; pictorial endpapers. Cover cloth lightly surface scuffed with a few unobtrusive stains, and rubbed to spine tips and corners. Scattered light foxing, mainly to prelims; inner hinge cracked at pp. 16-17 but firm; small nick & associated crease to upper margin p.11. No annotation or inscriptions; plates clean and in good order. A Very Good copy. Songs with lyrics and musical notation including classics such as "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", "Beautiful Soup" and "Jaberwocky", enhanced by Folkard's vivid and detailed artwork.
