ABAA Antiquarian Book Fairs 2019



After a busy weekend in Stuttgart many ABA members will now be heading across the Atlantic to attend Rare Books LA and the 52nd California International Antiquarian Book Fair. Booksellers from across the United States and the rest of the world will be gathering in California to share their knowledge and collections.

The following weekend the Californian International Antiquarian Book Fair where booksellers will be joined by a special exhibit from the Book Club of California highlighting women printers and book artists, with as a display of some of the Club’s oldest and most sought-after publications. As well as an exhibit on the works of L. Frank Baum from the private collection of Joel Harris, a member of the International Wizard of Oz Club. The fair will also feature a number of fascinating talks and seminars including Cyclone on the Prairies: The Magic of the Land of Oz and Book Collecting 101.
