Grove Rare Books
Grove Rare Books is a most delightful bookshop, beautifully situated within the Yorkshire Dales National Park on the Duke of Devonshire's Yorkshire estate and close to the much visited eleventh-century Bolton Priory on the banks of the River Wharfe. The shop is in the centre of the village, has ample customer parking to the rear, and is a short walk from the Devonshire Arms Country House Hotel. Dating from the eighteenth century, the mullioned facade opens onto three rooms offering a wide selection of antiquarian, rare and out of print books.
The range of stock is good and includes antiquarian books, fine bindings and bound sets, together with illustrated books and a good literary section. However situated as we are in the heart of Yorkshire we specialise in the Topography of Yorkshire, maps and antiquarian prints of the area. Our proximity to Haworth means that we are always keen to buy and sell books associated with and about the Bronte family. Being in a county well known for its excellent sporting facilities and offering top quality hunting, shooting and fishing means that another specialist area is Country Sports with an emphasis on Fly Fishing.
The owner looks forward to welcoming customers old and new, together with trade callers, in a most attractive and well-appointed country bookshop.
