M Pollak Antiquariat
M. Pollak, established in 1899 and now in its third generation, is an establishment of international reputation, dealing in original antique maps and antiquarian books. It is the oldest firm of its kind in Israel, featuring two stores fifty metres apart in the heart of Tel-Aviv.
The shop located in 36 King George Street is world known for its large selection of antiquarian and rare books of all periods, with emphasis on Jewish history and art, the Holy Land, Hebrew and international literature, German books.
The second branch at 42 King George Street is a unique store in Israel with an impressive display of original antique maps and views of the Holy Land and the world of the 16th-19th century, vintage photographs and a rich collection of decorative
antique prints for interior design, together with a fine selection of antiquarian travel books to the Holy Land, the arts and history.
For many years the firm has advised public institutions, government offices, the business community and private customers all over the world in their gift selection. Every item is supplied with an international “Certificate of Authenticity”.
M. Pollak is the only member in Israel of both the “Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association (International)” and the “Verband Deutscher Antiquare” and as such obliged to their code of ethics.
